The journey so far…

Growing up, one of the things that interested me the most outside of professional wrestling was gaming. In the real world, I hated physics, biology & math (my worst subject) and escaping into the fantasy world where was a time-rewinding teen from the streets, a flightless dark Angel who uses bows to fight the armies of Hades, or a Gnome monk who while small in size could humble even the largest of dragons, I was at my happiest. In 2015 I became the Smash Arabia Super Smash Bros. Champion which was one of my favorite moments in my life. I incorporated some of the stories from my games into our short home videos with my brother and cousins. As time passed by, it had become more difficult for us to make these films, my cousins and brother left for college, and I still had a few years to go at school, so I went back to my gaming comfort space.

I grew up in Riyadh, the capital city of Saudi Arabia. A city with over six million people calling it home, known for its fast-paced life, maddening traffic, and huge malls. When the time came for me to go to college I wanted a different experience, I chose a college in a small quiet town in the Midwest. I had a hard time deciding on a major, so I went with Computer Science hoping that my gaming and computer knowledge would aid me in that degree. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work like that, and my first semester was miserable. During that same semester, I had to choose an elective, after scouring the list I settled on Intro to Theatre, and I fell in love. I was never embarrassed or shy performing in that class, I had the best time in the class. I made my major switch the next semester and the rest was history as they say. I performed in theaters all around Cleveland area and in its parks, all this culminated in our senior year play “Hunchback of Seville” alongside my friends and mentors. I treasure that production to this day.

During my senior year, I was diagnosed with a serious kidney disease. While, I was thankfully able to finish the year and graduate with my classmates, I had to take time off immediately after for my health. The treatment was tough both physically and mentally on me. I was blessed to be with my loving family that supported me through it and through my kidney transplant after. That time made me reflect on my choices in life so far, I came out with a new love for life, love for my body, and a renewed love for my art. I applied and got into the Atlantic Acting School shortly after fully recovering from surgery. My time at Atlantic was a major notch in my journey, I will forever carry the knowledge I learned from all the teachers and classmates. I will become a positive force in the world, I will represent my culture and religion proudly, and I will make art that I am proud to share with the world. The journey has just begun.
